Adventure and Crafts Day Camp

June 21 through June 25

Chatfield Center for the Arts and Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center partner to present a week of adventure and crafts. Campers entering grades 3-5 are welcomed to register for morning sessions, afternoon sessions, or all day. Each day’s activities will be built on a different down to the river theme. All activities take place at Chatfield Center for the Arts and Groen Park.

Morning Session Campers meet animals, paint with watercolor, and walk in nature. Learn about the cultural history of the people who made their homes by the river, and observe the plants and animals living there today. Explore on a scavenger hunt and build found-object sculptures.

Afternoon Session Campers build critters with clay, collect objects to craft solar photo images, and tie fishing flies. Try out orienteering and map-making. Learn Oneota stories and dance. Enjoy hikes to the river to observe fish and insects, and create a mix of art projects along the way.

Half Day Tuition: $125, Full Day Tuition: $200
