PK Mayo pieces together ancient and modern truths in the blues, like a puzzle without a solution, finding ways to make the words and music of reality come alive. Born in the Minnesota mining town of Eveleth, Mayo stayed close to home, focusing on blues as a bedrock foundation and putting his muscular spin on it. Noted for his mastery of the acoustic and electric slide guitar, PK Mayo holds his rightful place in the Minnesota Blues Hall of Fame and the Minnesota Rock & Country Hall of Fame.
